Rising Stars over the Charles W. Cullen Bridge A star trail photograph was taken of the Charles W. Cullen Bridge in southern Delaware.  The composite was made of 135 fifteen second exposures.  Settings for the sub exposures were ISO 400 / 15 seconds / f/4.5 using a Canon 17-40L mm lens @ 26 mm.  The bridge is located along route 1 and spans the Indian River Inlet.  Boat traffic can be seen crossing into the Atlantic Ocean to the east of the inlet.  The series of images was taken from Delaware Seashore State Park.  The new bridge was recently dedicated with an opening ceremony on May 5, 2012.

The Ocean View Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Ocean View, Delaware. Founded in 1977, its mission is to preserve and promote the history and heritage of the local area. The society operates a museum which houses and displays artifacts that tell the story of the early settlers of the area, as well as the growth and development of the community.

The museum includes displays of photographs, documents, artifacts, and other memorabilia from the 1800s to the present day. In addition, the museum offers educational programs and workshops for children, youth, and adults. The museum is open to the public throughout the year and admission is free.

The society also works to preserve and maintain several historic sites in Ocean View. These include the Ocean View Church, built in 1837, the original Ocean View Post Office, and the Ocean View Mill, which dates back to 1882. The society also sponsors several annual events, such as the Ocean View Art Walk, and the Ocean View Heritage Festival.

In addition to the museum and historic sites, the Ocean View Historical Society also provides a variety of research services. These include genealogy research, historical research, and archival research. The society also provides access to its library, which includes books, microfilms, and other documents related to the history of the area. The society also offers a variety of educational programs and workshops throughout the year.
