Jewish Historical Society of Delaware (JHSD) is an independent, non-profit organization located in Wilmington, Delaware. Founded in 1975, JHSD is dedicated to preserving, interpreting and sharing Delaware's Jewish history. JHSD is a statewide organization that serves as the primary source of information and resources for Delaware's Jewish history.

JHSD has a two-story facility in downtown Wilmington that houses a museum, library, research center, and gallery. The museum displays a variety of permanent and rotating exhibits on Jewish life in Delaware. The library is the state's largest collection of Jewish books, periodicals, photographs, archival holdings, and artifacts. The research center provides access to genealogical records, demographic information, family trees, and other resources for researching family history. The gallery hosts a variety of changing exhibits on Jewish art and culture.

JHSD also offers a variety of programs and activities, including lectures, films, workshops, and educational programs for adults and children. The organization also sponsors an annual Jewish Heritage Day celebration in Wilmington and a Jewish History Month celebration across the state. Additionally, JHSD provides community outreach services, including exhibits and programs on Jewish history, culture, and art.
