The Alaska Association for Historic Preservation (AAHP) is a non-profit organization based in Anchorage, Alaska. It was founded in 1976 to protect, preserve, and promote the historic, archaeological, and cultural resources of Alaska. AAHP works to ensure that the state’s unique heritage is accurately presented and interpreted to the public.

AAHP's mission is to promote responsible stewardship of Alaska's historic and cultural resources through education, advocacy, and collaboration. Its main activities include research, education, and advocacy. AAHP works to protect archaeological and historic sites and artifacts, advocate for preservation policies and legislation, and engage in public outreach and education programs.

AAHP also operates several historic sites throughout the state. These include the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum in Anchorage, the Alaska Natives Heritage Center in Anchorage, the Alaska State Museum in Juneau, and the Eliza Museum in Fairbanks. AAHP also manages the Alaska Historic Preservation Tax Credit program which offers state-wide tax incentives for preservation projects.

AAHP is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Alaska Historical Commission, and the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions. AAHP is also a partner of the Alaska State Historic Preservation Office, the Alaska Historic Sites Survey, and the Alaska Heritage Resources Survey. AAHP is funded through grants, donations, membership, and program fees.
