The Museum of American Road in New Castle, Delaware is a unique and educational museum that showcases the history of American roadways and transportation. Founded in 2013, the Museum of American Road strives to educate the public about the importance of the roads that connect our country. The museum’s collection includes numerous artifacts, such as vintage cars, road signs, maps, and photographs from the early days of the automobile, as well as newer items.

The museum also houses an impressive collection of documents and photographs from the earliest days of the automobile, along with educational displays that tell the story of how transportation has shaped the development of the United States. Visitors can explore the museum’s collection of automobiles, from the earliest Model Ts to classic cars of the 1950s. The museum also has a variety of interactive displays, such as a virtual tour of the Lincoln Highway, which was America’s first transcontinental highway.

The museum also offers a variety of educational programs and workshops throughout the year, such as lectures and demonstrations on the history of the automobile, and guided tours of the museum’s collection. The Museum of American Road also hosts several special events, such as the annual Car and Motorcycle Show, which features classic vehicles from all eras.

The Museum of American Road is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm, and Saturday from 10am-3pm. Admission is free for children under 12, and discounted for seniors. The museum also features a gift shop, where visitors can purchase souvenirs and books related to the museum’s collection.
