Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens is a 93 acre oasis of beauty in Stamford, Connecticut. Founded in 1913, the Arboretum is a non-profit, public garden dedicated to environmental education and horticultural display. The Arboretum is home to a vast array of plants and trees, including many rare and endangered species. The grounds include a variety of display gardens, including a rock garden, a butterfly garden, and a wildflower meadow. The Arboretum also boasts a collection of over 3000 trees, including some of the oldest and largest trees in Connecticut.
