The Brant Foundation is a private non-profit organization located in Greenwich, Connecticut. Founded by Peter M. Brant in 2009, the foundation’s mission is to promote education and appreciation of contemporary art through public access to its collection and special exhibitions. The Brant Foundation Art Study Center, located on the foundation’s 35-acre estate, is open to the public and features rotating exhibitions of works from the permanent collection.

The foundation’s permanent collection includes works by some of the most important artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, including Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, and Cindy Sherman, among many others. The collection also includes important works from lesser known, emerging artists.

In addition to exhibiting works from its permanent collection, the Brant Foundation hosts special exhibitions and educational programs, including lectures, tours, and workshops. The foundation also hosts a variety of special events, including pop-up exhibits and public art installations.

The Brant Foundation is committed to making contemporary art accessible to all, and supports a wide range of nonprofit organizations, schools, and cultural institutions. Through its public programs, it works to increase public awareness of the importance of contemporary art, and to foster dialogue and creativity.
