The Friends of the Marie Drake Planetarium in Juneau, AK is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting science education and public awareness of astronomy in the Juneau community. The Planetarium was founded in 1975 and is part of the Juneau-Douglas High School. The mission of the Planetarium is to provide educational and entertaining programs that bring the wonders of astronomy to the public. The Friends of the Planetarium were formed in 2008 to support and promote the activities of the Planetarium.

The Friends of the Planetarium host a variety of events throughout the year, including public shows, star parties, campouts, and special events. They also provide educational programming, support the Planetarium's outreach efforts, and raise funds to help maintain and improve the facility.
