The New Haven Colony Historical Society is a non-profit educational organization based in New Haven, Connecticut. Founded in 1838, it is the oldest historical society in the state. The Society is dedicated to preserving the history and culture of Connecticut from the colonial period to the present day. Its collections include artifacts, documents, maps, photographs, and other materials related to the history of New Haven and the surrounding area.
