The Denison Homestead, located in Mystic, Connecticut, is a historic house that was built in 1717. The house is a two-story, five-bay gable-roofed center-chimney Colonial with a one-story rear wing. The house is constructed of post and beam framing with a clapboard exterior and features a typical 18th-century central chimney.

The Denison Homestead was originally built by Captain Daniel Denison in 1717 and was home to the Denison family for several generations. The house has been passed down through the generations and was eventually given to the Denison Homestead Society in 1966.

Denison Homestead is a registered National Historic Landmark and is now owned and operated by the Denison Homestead Society. The house is open for public tours and features a variety of artifacts from the Denison Family. Visitors can also explore the grounds, which include a garden, a pond, and a stone wall that dates back to the 1700s.

The Denison Homestead offers a unique glimpse into the past and is a wonderful way to learn about the history of Mystic and the Denison family. The house is located in a picturesque setting and is a great place to explore the past and the beauty of the area.
