The Colorado Institute for Historical Study (CIHS) is an educational facility located in Denver, Colorado. It was founded in 1985 by a group of dedicated historians and educators with the goal of providing the public with a better understanding of the state’s history. CIHS is a non-profit, volunteer-run institution that serves as a resource for historical research and education.
