Aspen Art Museum (AAM) is located in downtown Aspen, Colorado. Founded in 1979, AAM is a non-collecting contemporary art museum dedicated to presenting the most thought-provoking and cutting-edge art from around the world. The museum is housed in a striking building designed by renowned architect Shigeru Ban, which opened to the public in 2014.

The museum’s galleries span three levels and include a mix of permanent and temporary exhibitions. AAM is also home to a range of educational and public programs, including lectures, performances, artist residencies, and family-friendly events. In addition, the museum features a retail shop and a rooftop sculpture garden.
