“Little Boy" Atomic Bomb 
This is a replica of the bomb that the American B-29 bomber Enola Gay dropped over the city of Hiroshima, Japan 75 years ago on August 6. The explosion killed about 40% of the residents. This was the first use of a nuclear weapon in war. Three days later, the US dropped a second atomic bomb on Nagasaki, which resulted in the surrender of Japan and the end of World War II.

The Colorado Society of Hispanic Genealogy (CSHG) is a non-profit organization based in Denver, Colorado with the mission of promoting, preserving and connecting the Hispanic culture of Colorado. The organization was founded in 1998 and its membership is open to anyone interested in Hispanic genealogy, history and culture.

CSHG provides members with access to resources and events to learn more about their Hispanic heritage. Members can attend free monthly meetings and workshops, and gain access to the society’s library and other research material. The organization also hosts an annual conference, which features lectures and workshops on a variety of topics related to Hispanic genealogy and culture.

In addition to its educational activities, CSHG also serves as an advocate for Hispanic genealogy in Colorado. The organization works with local and state government officials to ensure that Hispanic genealogical records and documents are preserved and accessible. CSHG also partners with other organizations to help facilitate access to records and resources for Hispanic genealogists.
