The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame and Museum in Crested Butte, Colorado, is the first and only facility of its kind dedicated to honoring the pioneers, innovators, and champions of the sport of mountain biking. Established in 1988, the Museum is the premier destination for honoring the sport’s past and inspiring its future.

Housed in a historic two-story building in the heart of Crested Butte, the Museum features a wide variety of interactive exhibits, photographs, films, and artifacts that explore the history, culture, and evolution of mountain biking. Visitors can learn about the individuals and events that have shaped the sport, as well as take part in demonstrations, watch films, and see a variety of bikes and equipment used in the sport. The Museum also features a library containing an ever-growing collection of books, magazines, and videos related to the sport.

The Hall of Fame, located on the second floor, holds a permanent display of inductees, including the original founding members of the sport, such as Gary Fischer, Charlie Kelly, and Tom Ritchey. Each year, a new class of inductees is added to the Hall of Fame, ensuring that the achievements of the sport’s most influential riders and innovators are continually recognized and celebrated.
