The Grand County Historical Association (GCHA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, interpreting and promoting the history of Grand County, Colorado. Located in Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado, GCHA works to establish and maintain a repository of items and information of historical significance, as well as to promote historic preservation throughout the county and its communities.

GCHA was founded in 1976 and has since become a significant resource for Grand County, providing educational programs and events related to the history of the area. The organization is run by a board of directors and staff, and is funded through grants and donations.

GCHA operates two museums in Hot Sulphur Springs. The Grand County Museum is a restored bank building with historical exhibits and artifacts from the area. The Museum of the Mountain Man is dedicated to preserving the history of the mountain man era and the fur trade in Colorado. Both museums are open to the public and offer a variety of educational programs, including lectures, tours and workshops.

In addition to its museums, GCHA is also involved in a number of preservation and restoration projects throughout Grand County. These include protecting and restoring the Moffat Road, an historic wagon road; preserving and restoring the old Grand County Courthouse; and developing a Grand County Historic Preservation Plan.

The Grand County Historical Association is an important resource for preserving and interpreting the history of Grand County and its communities. Through its museums, educational programs, and preservation projects, GCHA works to ensure that the past is remembered and celebrated.
