DOUGLAS COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

CASTLE ROCK, CO

Highlands Ranch This is from my archives, but it looks pretty much the same today. I live about a half block from the Highlands Ranch Mansion and adjacent working cattle ranch. When we moved here in 1991 there were pronghorns and deer that would venture through the open space. The deer still come by once in a great while but we haven't seen any pronghorns for a long time.
