Santa Barbara Mission Archive-Library Inc (SBMAL) is a nonprofit organization located in Santa Barbara, California dedicated to preserving the history and culture of the Santa Barbara Mission. The organization was founded in 1962 and collects, preserves and makes accessible the archives, library and other historical materials relating to the Santa Barbara Mission and its related sites. SBMAL is housed in the historic two-story building which was built in 1812 as part of the original Mission complex.
