The Broad Art Foundation is a philanthropic foundation located in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1984 by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad, the foundation seeks to increase public access to contemporary art by lending artwork from its extensive collection to museums and other nonprofit organizations worldwide. The collection consists of over 2,000 pieces of contemporary art from some of the world’s most renowned artists, including Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, and Joseph Beuys.
