Virginia Robinson Gardens is a historic estate in Beverly Hills, California. The estate was built in 1911-1912 by Virginia and Harry Robinson, and today it is owned by the City of Beverly Hills. The estate is comprised of 11 acres of formal gardens, exotic trees, and lush foliage, as well as a historic main house.

The gardens contain a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees, including cypress, magnolia, eucalyptus, citrus, and palms. There is also a rose garden, a fountain garden, a herb garden, and a koi pond. In addition, the estate has a pool, an outdoor theater, a sunken garden, and a lily pond.

The main house is a two-story Mediterranean-style mansion. It has a library, a grand staircase, a music room, and a formal dining room. The mansion also holds many of the Robinsons' original furnishings, artworks, and memorabilia.

Visitors to the estate can take part in guided tours, which are offered on a regular basis. The tours provide an opportunity to learn about the history of the Robinsons and the estate itself. The estate is also available for private events and weddings.

LA Pride / LGBTQ+ Armenian Society (# 0152) Having lived for a number of years in the part of the city of LA that is adjacent to the very strongly Armenian city of Glendale, I was shocked to see an Armenian contingent in the Pride parade. My impression for many years had been that the Armenian community was fairly strongly homophobic even though there were many LGBTQ Armenians. It turns out that somehow the word just wasn’t quite getting out, that there was a very active <u><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GALAS_LGBTQ+_Armenian_Society" rel="noreferrer nofollow">GALAS LGBTQ+ Armenian Society</a></u> rights organization that had started in ‘98 and had marched in LA Pride in 2002, 2 years after I had moved to LA. <i>To see all of the posted photos of the 2024 Los Angeles Pride Parade, use the “LA Pride 2024” tag. </i>

John Treacy's Silver Remembering our former Olympians today and as this is coming to the end of the games we have yet another legend of Irish sport to end our tribute. There are some sports people who just stand out, not only for their wins but for their courage, talent and total determination not to give up and John Treacy was one of those. His run in the marathon at the Los Angeles Olympics was just such a race. He had never run a Marathon before and was part of a field of superb Marathon runners but he was battling right to the end and his finish with the British runner showed his class.
