The Birmingham Botanical Gardens in Birmingham, Alabama is a 15-acre public garden located at 2612 Lane Park Road. The gardens showcase over 10,000 different kinds of plants, from native species to exotic varieties from around the world. The diversity of the collections provides a unique opportunity to explore different climates, environments, and cultures.

The gardens are home to several distinct areas including a formal rose garden, a Japanese garden, a wildflower garden, and a hosta garden. The gardens also feature a number of specialty gardens such as a Bamboo grove, an Herb Garden, a Fern Glade, a Camellia Garden, and a Children’s Garden.

The gardens also offer educational programs for both adults and children. These include classes on gardening, botany, horticulture, and nature appreciation. In addition, the gardens host special events such as the annual Spring Plant Sale and the Fall Foliage Festival.
