Armory Center for the Arts is a visual and media arts center located in Pasadena, California. Founded in 1989, Armory Center for the Arts serves over 40,000 people annually through its exhibitions, classes, and programs.

The Armory is housed in the former National Guard Armory, built in 1904, and is a key part of Pasadena’s cultural life. The Armory offers a variety of programs for children, teens, and adults, including classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and digital media, as well as family, summer, and community programs.

The Armory also features several galleries, including the Main Gallery, which hosts contemporary art exhibitions, and the Community Gallery, which features work by local artists and students. The Armory also hosts lectures, film screenings, and performances in its performance space.

The Armory’s education programs are supported by the Armory Education Initiative, which provides resources and financial support for visual and media art classes in local schools, and the Armory Art Scholars program, which provides college scholarships for high school seniors.

The Armory also offers summer art camps, field trips, and after-school programs for K-12 students. Additionally, the Armory works with local organizations to provide community resources and services, including a job skills program.

The Armory is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 5 pm. Admission is free, and the Armory provides free parking and Wi-Fi.
