The California Archery Foundation (CAF) in Redding, CA is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1992 with the mission to promote, develop and preserve the sport of archery in California. CAF offers a variety of programs, activities, and services designed to further the growth of the sport of archery throughout the state.

The CAF’s main goal is to increase the number of archers in the state by offering a variety of archery classes and events. They also work to provide educational resources, such as books, videos and instruction manuals, to help those interested in the sport learn more. CAF also hosts the California State Archery Tournament, which is the largest archery tournament in the state.

The CAF also works to promote safety and responsible stewardship of the sport. They offer a variety of safety courses and seminars to help archers stay safe and be responsible members of the archery community. They also work to protect archery ranges and archery resources through their Range Conservation and Access Program.

The CAF is committed to providing archers with the best resources, education, and opportunities available. Through their various programs, they strive to continue to grow the sport of archery in the state and encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved.
