The California Central Valley Horticultural Foundation (CCVHF) is a non-profit organization based in Sacramento, California. It was founded in 1977 to promote horticulture in California's Central Valley. The CCVHF organizes field trips and workshops for gardeners, farmers, and other horticultural enthusiasts to educate them about sustainable horticultural practices. It also sponsors research projects, provides educational materials and resources, and helps to promote locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs.

The CCVHF also works to protect California's Central Valley from agricultural and urban development. The organization works with local governments and other organizations to preserve natural resources, promote responsible land-use, and protect the region's rich agricultural heritage.

The CCVHF also manages the California Central Valley Plant Database which is a comprehensive database of plants native to the Central Valley. This database is used by gardeners, landscapers and nurseries to help them identify and select the right plants for their needs.

The CCVHF also runs the Central Valley Plant Exchange which encourages the sharing of plants between gardeners in the Central Valley. This exchange allows gardeners to trade and exchange plants, seeds and related horticultural materials.

The CCVHF is committed to promoting a sustainable and healthy horticultural environment in California's Central Valley. Through its various programs and initiatives, the CCVHF works to ensure that the Central Valley remains a prosperous and beautiful place to live and work.
