The Eufaula-Barbour County Historic Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Eufaula, Alabama. The Foundation was established in 1978 with the mission to protect, preserve, and promote the historic places, artifacts, and documents that tell the stories of the community's past. The Foundation has a board of directors and staff who work to achieve its goals.
The Foundation is responsible for the preservation of numerous historic sites, such as the Eufaula Historic District, the historic homes of Eufaula, as well as the Old Eufaula High School and the Eufaula Historic Cemetery. The Foundation also works to promote the local culture and heritage through educational programs, presentations, and other activities.
The Foundation is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Alabama Historical Commission, and the Eufaula-Barbour County Chamber of Commerce. The Foundation also works with various other organizations to help preserve the history of the area.
The Foundation has been instrumental in the restoration of several historic sites, such as the old Eufaula High School and the Eufaula Historic Cemetery. The Foundation also hosts several events throughout the year such as the Heritage Days Festival, the Eufaula Pilgrimage, and the Eufaula Christmas Parade.

The Foundation strives to create a strong sense of community, bring attention to the history of the area, and provide educational opportunities to citizens.
