Galeria de la Raza is a non-profit, community-based arts organization located in the Mission District of San Francisco, California. Founded in 1970, the gallery supports and nurtures the development of Chicano, Latino, and Native American artists, as well as other local and international artists of color. The gallery is housed in a two-story building, which includes two galleries, a theater, and a classroom.

The mission of Galeria de la Raza is to “promote, produce, and present the Chicano/Latino and Native American cultural arts of the highest quality, while fostering the appreciation of the arts by all people.” The gallery presents a wide range of exhibitions and events, including the annual Day of the Dead celebration, the annual Gala de La Raza, and the annual Arte Americas exhibition. The gallery also hosts a number of educational and community outreach programs, such as art classes for children and adults, lectures, film screenings, and workshops.

Galeria de la Raza also produces a variety of publications, including catalogs, posters, and other printed materials. The gallery also offers a range of artist services, including consulting, curatorial services, and portfolio review. In addition, the gallery provides resources to help artists develop and promote their work, such as artist residencies and professional development workshops.
