The San Ramon Valley Historical Society (SRVHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the San Ramon Valley region in Danville, California. Founded in 1975, the SRVHS is focused on collecting, preserving, and sharing the unique history of the San Ramon Valley. The organization works to educate the public about the history of the region and to foster an appreciation of its past.

The SRVHS is housed in the historic Danville Hotel, which was built in 1891 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The SRVHS offers exhibits, lectures, tours, and other activities to the public to promote the history and culture of the San Ramon Valley.

The SRVHS also maintains an extensive collection of more than 10,000 photographs, documents, maps, and artifacts related to the area's history. These artifacts include items ranging from Native American artifacts to items related to the early Spanish, Mexican, and American settlers who lived in the area.

The SRVHS is committed to preserving the history of the San Ramon Valley and works to ensure that the public has access to the region's rich history. The organization is always looking for volunteers who are passionate about history and willing to help with their mission.
