The Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum in Jackson, Wyoming is an organization devoted to preserving the history of the area, from pre-history through to the present day. The museum was established in 1943 and is housed in an old schoolhouse. The museum offers a variety of exhibits and collections, including archaeological artifacts, objects related to Native American and pioneer history, and artifacts from the area's ranching, mining, railroading and logging industries.

The museum's permanent exhibits include "The Valley of the Tetons: Human History and Environment," which explores the area's geology, plants, animals and cultural history; "The People of Jackson Hole: Who We Are and Where We Came From," which focuses on the people of the valley, including Native Americans, trappers, ranchers, miners and loggers; and “The Grand Teton: A National Park of the American West” which looks at the history of the Grand Teton National Park.

In addition to its permanent exhibits, the museum also hosts a variety of changing exhibitions and events including lectures, classes, and special programs. The museum also has a research library, which contains a variety of archival materials and collections related to the history of Jackson Hole, including manuscripts, photographs and maps.
