The National African American Archives and Museum (NAAAM) is located in Mobile, Alabama. Founded in 2002, the museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history and culture of African Americans in the Gulf Coast region of the United States. Through its permanent exhibits, educational programs, and special events, the museum seeks to bring greater understanding and appreciation for the contributions African Americans have made to the nation.
