The Zoological Society of Milwaukee (ZSM) is a non-profit organization located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, dedicated to the conservation and preservation of animals and their habitats. Founded in 1892, the Society is one of the oldest zoological organizations in the United States, and is a leader in conservation, animal welfare, and environmental education. ZSM is home to the Milwaukee County Zoo, a leading zoological center that is home to over 2,000 animals representing more than 300 species.
The Zoo is open year-round, offering educational and interactive experiences for visitors of all ages. Guests can explore habitats from around the world, from African Savannahs to Asian rainforests and Australian outback.
