Milwaukee Road railroad depot, Gratiot, Wisconsin The former Milwaukee Road (CMStP&amp;P) railroad depot in Gratiot, Wisconsin.
This Lafayette County station was located on the Milwaukee Road's line to Mineral Point, in the rugged Driftless Area of southwest Wisconsin.
The railroad grade is now the state-owned Cheese Country Trail.

The Green County Historical Society is a nonprofit organization located in Monroe, Wisconsin. Its mission is to preserve and promote the history of Green County and its communities.

The society was founded in 1939 and has since grown to include a museum, research library, and archives. BARD Materials, Monroe, Wisconsin BARD Materials, a ready-mix concrete supplier in Monroe, Wisconsin. BARD has a railroad siding and receives rail service from Wisconsin &amp; Southern Railroad (WSOR). On this day, hopper WSOR 8009 and at least one other open hopper were on the siding.
The BARD Materials concrete plant is located at 1207 18th Street in Monroe, just west of the WSOR 13th Avenue grade crossing.

In this view you can see a bearing pad where the bridge rests on the abutment, several gusset plates that join truss members, and the concrete bridge deck (which is in pretty rough shape).
