The Crawford County Historical Society Inc is a non-profit organization located in Mt Sterling, Wisconsin, dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Crawford County. Mail's Here Our southbound trek with CP260 had us passing a handful of small towns, each of which we were rapidly scanning for photo opportunities. Just south of Harpers Ferry, IA, the road was elevated on a decent embankment for a good few miles, which provided ample opportunities. Picking one and sticking to it was the trick, and the three of us were rather indecisive about it.

Above a string of tightly packed boat-homes, we found our spot. The wait was longer than expected, and a guy down below called up and asked what we were up to. He just sort of kept watching us, and took a photo at some point, but didn't give us any trouble. That was a fun one.

Eventually, we were greeted by the familiar CP GEVOs we'd been following. Before I knew it, we were jumping back into the truck and bound for Marquette.
