Driver Opera House Restoration Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Darlington, Wisconsin dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the historic Driver Opera House. The organization was formed in 2002 by a group of local citizens who wanted to save the Driver Opera House from demolition. The opera house, built in 1887, is the oldest building in Darlington and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The goal of the organization is to restore the opera house to its original state and make it a cultural center for the community. The restoration process has included repairs to the building’s exterior and interior, installation of new windows and doors, and renovation of the stage and gallery. The organization has also raised funds to purchase and install a new sound system and lighting system.

Driver Opera House Restoration Inc. is funded through donations, grants, and fundraising events. The organization also hosts a variety of events at the opera house, including theater performances, concerts, art shows, and other community activities. The organization has also begun offering educational programs for school groups, such as workshops on historical preservation and theater production.
