The Brillion Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Brillion, Wisconsin. Established in 1972, the Society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the Brillion area. The Society operates the historic Brillion Iron Works, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Iron Works was built in 1875, and was once the largest manufacturer of agricultural implements in the United States. The Society also manages the J.J. Kleman House, which was built in 1853 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Society offers a variety of educational programs and events throughout the year. These include a summer lecture series, a Victorian tea, a Civil War reenactment, and a variety of living history programs. The Society also hosts a number of special events, such as a blacksmithing demonstration and a vintage tractor show.
In addition to its educational programs, the Society also maintains a museum and archives. The museum houses a variety of artifacts and photographs that tell the story of the Brillion area. The archives contain a variety of documents and photographs related to the history of the Brillion area.
