BLOOMER BI-CENTENNIAL HOUSE

The Bloomer Bi-Centennial House is a historical house located in Bloomer, Wisconsin. The house was built in 1876 and was originally owned by a local business owner. The house was purchased by the city of Bloomer in the 1970s and was restored to its original condition in honor of the United States Bicentennial Celebration in 1976.

The Bloomer Bi-Centennial House is a two-story Victorian-style house with a wrap-around porch and a turret. The exterior of the house is painted in its original colors of light green with white trim. The interior of the house features original woodwork, stained glass windows, and period furniture.

The first floor of the house contains a parlor, dining room, and kitchen. The second floor contains three bedrooms and a bathroom. The house also has a basement which was used as a root cellar in the past.

The Bloomer Bi-Centennial House is now open to the public for tours and special events. Visitors can learn about the history of Bloomer and the surrounding area while exploring the beautifully restored house. The house is a popular destination for school groups and local history enthusiasts.
