PINE CREST HISTORICAL VILLAGE

Pine Crest Historical Village in Manitowoc, Wisconsin is a unique outdoor museum of historic buildings and artifacts that tell the story of the early settlers of the area. It is located on a wooded property of several acres near the shores of Lake Michigan.

The village consists of more than a dozen original buildings that have been moved to the site from their original locations. These include a one-room schoolhouse, a general store, a barbershop, a blacksmith shop, a church, a post office, a train depot, a barn, and a print shop. The buildings have been authentically restored and furnished with period artifacts from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

In addition to the buildings, the village also features several outdoor exhibits, including a working farm, a period kitchen garden, a children’s play area, and a nature trail. The site is open to the public for educational programs, special events, and guided tours.
