The Institute for the Study of Rescue and Altruism in the Holocaust is a research institution located in Morgantown, West Virginia. It was established in 2011 with the aim of studying and commemorating the acts of rescue and altruism that occurred during the Holocaust. The institute is affiliated with West Virginia University and is headed by Dr. Jeffrey S. Lesser, a prominent scholar of Jewish history.

The Institute for the Study of Rescue and Altruism in the Holocaust conducts research, hosts workshops and seminars, and collaborates with other institutions and organizations to promote understanding and education about the Holocaust. It also sponsors an annual lecture series featuring renowned scholars, survivors, and rescuers.
