Last Light and Lingering Mists at Grandview (New River NP, West Virginia) Just when the day was winding down at New River Gorge, this scene at Grandview caught my eye. After a rain-soaked day, the skies cleared just enough for me to take this shot. The lingering mists hugging the river felt like nature’s own sigh of relief. It was pretty dim out there, but a long exposure helped bring out the colors and details. Glad I hustled to the overlook in time; it's moments like these that make you appreciate the calm after the storm.
