The Gen. Albert Gallatin Jenkins House is a historic home located in Green Bottom, West Virginia, USA. The house was built in 1835 and was the birthplace and childhood home of Gen. Albert Gallatin Jenkins, a Confederate general during the American Civil War.

The house is a two-story brick structure with a gabled roof and a central hallway plan. The interior features original woodwork, plaster ceiling medallions, and decorative fireplaces. The house has been restored and furnished to reflect the lifestyle of the Jenkins family during the mid-19th century.

The property includes a historic cemetery where members of the Jenkins family are buried, as well as a small museum that displays artifacts related to the family and the Civil War.

The Gen. Albert Gallatin Jenkins House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is operated by the West Virginia Division of Culture and History. It is open to the public for tours and educational programs, providing visitors with a unique glimpse into the life and times of one of West Virginia's most famous sons.

Backpacking at Lake Vesuvius The Lake Vesuvius Recreation Area has several trails, offering visitors short options to long, multi-day excursions. Backpacking is popular at Lake Vesuvius. There is a 17 mile long backpacking trail, as well as an 8 mile long Lakeshore Trail. These trails intersect at several places, offering visitors several routes and loop options.
