The Camas Washougal Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Washougal, Washington, dedicated to preserving and promoting the history and culture of the area. Founded in 1967, the Society has since collected and preserved artifacts, photographs, documents, and other materials related to the area’s past. The Society is housed in a two-story museum building in downtown Washougal, built in 1904 and formerly used as the town’s first library. It contains thousands of items related to the history of Washougal, including photographs, furniture, tools, clothing, and other artifacts.

The Society also maintains a library of books and periodicals, as well as archives of local newspapers and other documents. It hosts a variety of educational programs and events throughout the year, such as lectures, workshops, and field trips.
