When the Spanish explorer, Manuel Quimper, showed up in 1790, the tribes thought they ought to mark their territory to prevent the Spanish from claiming it. The tribes ran around putting up Ello stickers on everything hoping the stickers would dissuade the Spanish from claiming the land.

The above is a fictitious story. There was no bridge in 1790.

1955 Dodge Mayfair Canadian built car using Plymouth body. These were also exported to many countries as well as assembled locally in many others. The Plymouth body was slightly smaller in length than the US Dodge so was better suited for export markets.

Olympic Pipeline spill in Conway, WA Dec. 22, 2023. Crews continue work to remove impacted soils in a field between the source of the spill (a maintenance and operations vault for the pipeline) and Hill Ditch.

The photo illustrates the flushing process currently being employed. A water truck at the top of the site where the leak occurred is using water to flush gasoline from the soil. The water and gasoline flow downhill (right to left in the photo) and enter the first trench. The water gasoline mix is then vacuumed up by vac trucks and stored in the blue frac tanks prior to being transported offsite for disposal. One lane of SR 534 remains open.
