Pool at a real fancy hotel in Prosser. Normally I couldn't afford, but off season and in Prosser instead of a place like Seattle. The next night I had to stay in another nearby motel that was almost as nice, since this one was booked.

Crosswalk just leading to gravel. Some intersections aren't built that good for anything except cars. Hotels have worked out pretty well, but booking apps can be confusing. Maybe I should try not to use them much in the future.

I accidentally booked for the same day, but the wrong month. Trying to figure out how to cancel that was confusing on the website. So many ads and offers thrown at you. Not easy to navigate.

Calling can be even worse. When I tried that route, the voicemail put me to some advertising offering a lifeline help bracelet in case I fall in my home. Special offer if one is over 55.

My main worry now was hoping I could bike safely to Yakima before dark and a possible storm brewing.

An offer to help me figure out my living will would be more appropriate.

Finally I did figure out how to cancel the wrong month, but thought I might end up having to pay for that anyway due to messages popping up saying I was not eligible for a refund.

Then I realized I hadn't paid yet so no refund was needed. It does get confusing.

Heading home through Yakima Valley. Weather changing. Along Wine Country Trail as long as it's available.

Did Laundry at hotel in Prosser, but nearby store only sold soap in larger packages. I left it in room as it's another thing to carry on a bicycle. It was the plastic bubbles and I prefer another style, but my clothing got washed.

Transit ticket from between Prosser and Richland was only sold in packets of 10. I only needed 2, but the rest are still good if I am ever in the area again. Total price is still only pocket change compared to a motel bill. Around $1.50 per ride.
