Founded in 1833, Fort Nisqually Historic Site is a living history museum located in Tacoma, Washington. The fort, a Hudson’s Bay Company fur trading post, is one of the oldest European settlements in the Puget Sound region, and it played a pivotal role in the early development of the area.
