The Chinese Historical and Cultural Project (CHCP) of Santa Clara County in San Jose, CA is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Chinese culture and heritage. Founded in 1979, CHCP is the oldest Chinese non-profit organization in the region and is dedicated to the exploration and understanding of Chinese culture, history, and traditions. CHCP has a wide range of programs and activities designed to foster knowledge and appreciation of Chinese culture in the community. These include educational programs, cultural events, Chinese language classes, Chinese art and music classes, and student exchange programs. CHCP also offers services for new immigrants such as language classes, job training, and assistance with visas and employment. CHCP's mission is to provide an understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture, language, and heritage and to serve as a bridge between the Chinese and other Bay Area communities. Through its wide range of activities and services, CHCP strives to foster a greater understanding of the Chinese culture and to promote cultural exchange and enrichment.

Prepare to be amazed We went to see Hanami, the cherry blossoms at Hakone Gardens, a Japanese garden in Saratoga, California. It was an enchanting experience to walk at night below cherry trees in full blossom, and along bamboo trees. This is the main gate where you enter. I processed a realistic, a balanced, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image.
