The museum contains the world's largest collection of southern furniture. The middle side chair was built in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1795. The side chair on the right was built in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1801. The card table to the far right was built in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1795-1810.
