Point of Honor Inc is a historic house museum located in Charlotte, Virginia. The house was built in 1815 by Dr. George Cabell, a prominent physician and politician. The house was later owned by his daughter, Mary Cabell, and her husband, Judge William Daniel, Jr. The house is a Federal-style brick mansion with four columns on its front porch.
The house has been restored and furnished with period pieces. Visitors to Point of Honor Inc can take guided tours of the house and learn about its history and the people who lived there. The museum also has a collection of artifacts and documents related to the Cabell and Daniel families, as well as the history of Charlotte and the surrounding area.
In addition to tours and exhibits, Point of Honor Inc also hosts special events throughout the year, including holiday celebrations, concerts, and educational programs for children. The museum is open to the public from March through December, Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. Admission fees go towards the preservation and maintenance of the historic house and its collections.
