The Army Historical Foundation Inc is a non-profit organization located in Arlington, Virginia that was established in 1983 to preserve the history and heritage of the United States Army. The foundation is dedicated to the collection, preservation, and interpretation of Army history and artifacts for the education and inspiration of future generations.

Numerous exhibits, educational programs, and initiatives have been organized by the foundation in order to raise awareness of the importance of preserving the Army's history. Among the foundation's projects is the National Museum of the United States Army, which is currently under construction and scheduled to open in 2020. This museum will house a vast collection of Army artifacts and provide visitors with an immersive experience that honors the men and women who have served in the Army throughout history.

The foundation also supports the preservation of historic Army buildings and landmarks, including the Fort Belvoir Museum in Virginia and the Fort Huachuca Museum in Arizona. In addition, it provides educational resources to teachers and students, sponsors research and scholarship programs, and publishes books and other materials related to Army history.

The Army Historical Foundation Inc is funded through private donations and grants, and is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Army veterans, historians, and other individuals with a passion for preserving the Army's rich history.
