Claude Moore Colonial Farm is a living history museum located in McLean, Virginia, just 15 miles from Washington, D.C. The farm is a re-creation of a small family farm from the year 1771, and it offers visitors an opportunity to experience the lifestyle of an 18th century farming family.

The farm is dedicated to telling the story of the people who lived and worked on the land during the colonial era. Visitors can explore the farm's original buildings, including the 1771 farmhouse, barn, smokehouse, and kitchen, which have been restored and furnished with authentic 18th century artifacts.

The farm is open to the public free of charge, and visitors can explore the grounds and buildings, participate in demonstrations such as spinning, weaving, and blacksmithing, and attend events such as the annual Revolutionary War Reenactment.
