The SAINTE CLAIRE HISTORIC PRESERVATION FOUNDATION is a non-profit organization founded in 1976 to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of San Jose, California. The Foundation's mission is to protect and restore historic landmarks, buildings, and sites in the San Jose area that are of significant cultural, architectural, and historical value.

The Foundation is particularly dedicated to preserving the iconic Hotel Sainte Claire, a landmark building in downtown San Jose that has been a part of the city's history for over 100 years. The hotel was built in 1926 and has hosted many notable guests over the years, including Charlie Chaplin, Babe Ruth, and Presidents Herbert Hoover and Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The SAINTE CLAIRE HISTORIC PRESERVATION FOUNDATION works tirelessly to fund and oversee restoration projects and to educate the public about the importance of preserving historic landmarks. The Foundation also offers tours of the Hotel Sainte Claire and other historic sites in the area.

The Foundation is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and supporters, including local historians, architects, and community leaders.
