Walks on Ballenger Creek Trail (Frederick, Maryland) - February 15th & 16th, 2024 Stayed in Frederick the night before our cruise. I enjoyed walking on the Ballenger Creek Trail right near the TownePlace Suites Frederick in Frederick, Maryland. The hotel is located at 5050 Westview Drive, Frederick, Maryland USA, 21703. Saw some eastern grey squirrels, deer, white throated sparrow, downy woodpeckers and cardinals. Heading to Baltimore to take the Royal Caribbean Vision of the Seas for an eight night cruise from Baltimore, Maryland to the Southeastern United States and the Bahamas (February 16th, 2024 to February 24th, 2024). The cruise embarks from Baltimore, Maryland with stops in Charleston, South Carolina; Port Canaveral, Florida; Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, and Nassau, Bahamas, before returning back to Baltimore.

Islands In The Fog The fog was particularly thick this weekend, but the strong sun gradually ate into it. Believe it or not there’s a a whole mountain hidden by that cloud. I took this photo from the footbridge attached to the rail bridge that goes across the river. What you’re looking at is the remains of the support pillars for the previous bridge. I spent more time than usual processing this image. I was going for an almost painterly look which I think I mostly got.
