Baby Deer Seeking Food The whole deer family (Daddy, Mommy and Baby) were at the edge of the woods looking for food after the big snow storm. We had manged to manhandle some corn to the front yard, but all the deer were scared to go get it. Finally, the Baby was the only only one brave enough to go for it.

This home is located at 227 South Royal Avenue in Front Royal, Warren County, Virginia. Built circa 1885, the structure is described as Late Victorian in style. The front façade displays a cross gable construction with a metal roof and a singular corbelled chimney. The 3-bay front façade contains a porch with turned balusters and some elaborate ornamental bracketing on the square wooden columns supporting the porch roof. The photo (2010) is of a trim, maintained home; but Google maps street view (2022) sadly shows the building in a deteriorating condition.
