Northern Virginia Model Railroaders (NVMR) is a non-profit organization based in Vienna, Virginia, dedicated to preserving and promoting the history and culture of model railroading. Founded in 1984, the club has grown into one of the largest model railroad organizations in the Mid-Atlantic region.

NVMR operates a large, HO-scale model railroad layout that spans over 1,000 square feet and features detailed scenery, operating signals, and a variety of locomotives and rolling stock. The layout is open to the public on select weekends throughout the year, and members of the club are available to answer questions and share their knowledge of the hobby.

In addition to the model railroad layout, NVMR also hosts educational programs and workshops for both beginners and experienced model railroaders. The club also participates in community events and fundraisers, using their model railroad displays to promote the hobby and raise awareness for various causes.

NVMR is run entirely by volunteers, and membership is open to anyone with an interest in model railroading. The club is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members, and encourages individuals of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in the hobby.
